Clonakilla Viognier 2011
A lighter Viognier with subtle apricot, white peach and pear on the nose and on the palate. Ready to drink now.
Carlei Green Vineyards Heathcote Shiraz 2008
Plum and raspberry flavours. Soft tannins with a short finish. Probably at its peak now.
Sutton Grange Winery Estate Viognier 2008
A lighter Viognier style without the traditional apricot flavour, more like a Pinot Gris with pear flavours, but heavier and more mouth filling than a Gris. Complex, mouth filling and flavoursome.
Dutschke Oscar Semmler Shiraz 2005
Classic Barossa Shiraz enhanced by time in the cellar. Smooth and slightly sweet with plum, cherry and oak flavours. Was even better after some time breathing, decant before drinking.
Wairau River Pinot Gris 2011
If you support the goal of being carbon neutral, this is a winery you should support. Usual Pinot Gris flavours of pear and tropical fruit.
Villa Maria Private Bin Pinot Gris 2011
Made from premium fruit with flavours of apple and pear. A delicate, clean wine that is drinking well now.
Penfolds Cellar Reserve Sangiovese 2006
Ripe fruit flavours, olives, lingering tannin finish. A great wine with food, especially Italian.
Torbreck Cuvee Juveniles Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2010
Plush fruit flavours of blackberry and cherry. Soft and easy to drink, will get better with age but why wait.
Barossa Valley Estate E & E Black Pepper Shiraz 2003
A typical big Barossa Shiraz with flavours of plums, prunes and liquorice. Not one for the faint hearted. An excellent wine.
Mount Mary Pinot Noir 2008
Light crimson coloured and very clean. Lovely sweet berry flavours with a long finish. A lovely Pinot Noir.
