Queensland Chardonnay Tasting
» Posted on: 19 June, 2013
A great event yesterday tasting predominantly Queensland, Granite Belt, Chardonnays. The 9 Queensland Chardonnays were tasted blind up against wines from Tasmania, Margaret River and France. There are some seriously good Queensland Chardonnays, and some not so good, across a range of styles. One advantage of Chardonnay is that the grapes can be grown successfully in a range of climates and the winemaker can produce varying styles of wine.
