Tank
Tank had been on our list of places to eat for a while, but on previous attempts to go there it had been booked out. Now we know why, the food was excellent. The entrees and mains were great, and so good to get a pasta dish that wasnt too oily or too creamy. Having read some previous reviews, the menu seems to have evolved. There is a good mix of share plates, pizza and conventional meals. A good range of vegetarian and gluten free options too. The wine list was varied enough to give us good choices and the prices werent as high as some other restaurants. Given its location in a laneway, there are no views, but the fitout of timber and glass is attractive and gives a pleasant ambience. The only negative was the wooden bench seat along the window. It was too high, flat, hard and uncomfortable, and should be removed. When you book, ask for a table with normal chairs, which were very comforatble. The bench seat aside, a great place too eat.
