Beringer Vineyards Napa Valley
» Posted on: 23 July, 2013
Bringer is the oldest continually operating winery in the Napa Valley, established in 1876.
It is on the main highway through the Napa Valley, on the outskirts of St Helena. Beringer has close links with Australia, through originally Beringer-Blass, and more recently Fosters and Treasury Wine Estates.
The grounds and the buildings are quite magnificent, befitting the long heritage of the site and the company.
As with the other larger companies, there are a range of tours and tasting available and a comprehensive range of merchandise and wines available.
For a good understanding of the history of the Napa and a tasting of some good wine, in a fabulous location, a must see visit.
