Kumeu River is one of the first cellar doors you come to as you head west out of Auckland. It is a long established winery and is still owned and operated by the original family that founded it. Kumeu River is widely renowned for its Chardonnay, of which there is a diverse range, to suit all palates. We are also great fans of the Pinot Gris, one of the best. The cellar door staff are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive and you are unlikely to leave without making a significant purchase.
