West Brook is one of the hidden gems of West Auckland. It is hidden away in the Waimauku Valley, north of the main road, State Highway 16. However it is worth finding and worth the drive up the road from SH 16. It is a beautiful setting and ideal for a picnic. West Brook produces a wide range of wines, manly whites, from grapes grown at Waimauku and from Marlborough. Cellar door staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the wines pretty good and good value for money.
