Yet another stunning building for a New Zealand cellar door and restaurant. The Mud House Winery and Café is a great place to stop on State Highway 1 north of Christchurch. It is the home of the wide range of Waipara Hills wines and the estate grown and reserve level Equinox wines.
Waipara Hills draws grapes from Central Otago, Marlborough and Waipara Valley so what you are tasting here is some of the best wines from all over the South Island and not just Waipara. The café serves excellent lunches and there is a wide range of merchandise available.
